MS Access front end - MySQL back end
I have a question about using Access as a front end and MysQL as a back end.
This is a project that was offered to me for development as an independent consultant.
I am hesitant to start on a project if I am going to have technical difficulties (record locking, etc..) when using Access as the front end.
I am versed both in SQL and Access VBA programming.
I will appreciate all suggestions and comments.

Considering the lack of responses to my candid request, I assume that this is a mute question, 'only do it if you already have an old Access system in place'.
thanks
