Using "MS Access to MySQL" program - Error recurring.

Hello,

I'm using "MySQL Server" version 4.0.21-nt and the latest "MS Access to MySQL" (1.2.0.31)

I have designated a database and destination database. The spelling of the database names are exact in spelling and case. Yet I keep receiving the error regarding "connection failure".
I did look at the msa2mys.log and noticed the "MS Access to MySQL" can see everything about the "MS Access" database.

The MySQL database doesn't have a password.

Below is the error I'm receiving.
Thanks for your support and time.

SETTINGS
--------
Moving data directly to MySQL server

TABLES
------------
Error connecting to destination database.
Connection: Provider=MSDASQL.1;Driver={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};Extended Properties="SERVER=localhost;UID=root;PWD=;PORT=3306;OPTION=0;DB=mysql;STMT=;"
Program Version: 1.2.0.31
Function: modMySql.MoveData2MySql
Error: -2147418113
Reason: Catastrophic failure
