MySQL and ACCESS

I am trying to have my existing ACCESS data base to work as a MySQL database and I am not to sure how to achieve this. So, I do have a few questions, any assistance would be appreciated.

1. Since I have my forms and reports already built in ACCESS I would like to continue to us e ACCESS as a shell (management sys) are there drawbacks to this and is it possible?

2. Do I have to build a database in MySQL and then link my ACCESS program to it? Or, can I somehow import my existing tables from ACCESS to MySQL?

3. Is there a MySQL management tool in which I could build my Db from the ground up and is it similar to ACCESS as far as ease of use?

I am fairly new to this and welcome any suggestions

Thank You,
Jimenda
