converting Data Access Page

I have an application that is basically using Access as the database with Data Access Pages, which are basically web pages (HTML) with some vb scripts, as the front-end. Using ODBC driver, I successfully linked Access database with MySQL, and so, the web page interface is connecting to Access database which is linked to MySQL.

But now, I want to by-pass Access all together. I want to connect from web page interfaces directly to MySQL, and since by exporting and linking, I more or less migrated Access db to MySQL, I feel like I should be able to tweak the web page interfaces to make them connect directly with MySQL.

Has anyone successfully done this? If so, what changes do I need to make on the web page interfaces to make this work?
