date conversion from access to mysql

Hi

I have a problem with date from access to mysql. I have a programme running on ms access. and am using mysql as a data storage. my issue when date get saved into Mysql datetime field there's date clushes there.

for instance todays date is 2009-08-06 (Year - Month - day) and from access it reads as (Year - Day - Month)

I have problems when pulling date directly from mysql, not all the data for today gets pulled because it reads that as the 8th day oj June instead of 6th day of Aug.

Is the a way to sort this issue out? my report are overdue already, PLEASE Help.

I just need some sort of a way to convert date from access to mysql
