We are using Microsoft Access with mySQL ODBC as a front end to mySQL. When we try to insert a picture into a blob field through an access form, we will get a message that the max packet has been exceeded. This occurs most of the time even if the pictures are VERY small. We read about size limits to 1mb as a standard setting but our files our only 9kb.
PS I know that storing images in the database may not be the best approach but we are stuck with this limitation right now.
Any help as soon as possible would be appreciated.
