Hi,
I found the solution to make Access XP (in win2k SP4) work with the ODBC MySQL 3.51 driver (using JET SP8, MDAC 2.61.7326.6). I tried to install the original MSJET40.DLL file that was installed before I have installed Win2k service pack 4. And now it works very fine, no crashes anymore.

File information:
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\MSJET40.DLL
size: 1,503,504 bytes
version: 4.0.4431.3

I found out that this version is in the Jet 4.0 Service Pack 5
it can be downloaded here and decompressed with winzip to extract
the msjet40.dll file in the cab archive.
ftp://ftp.cdc.gov/pub/Software/answr/jet40sp5_9xnt.exe
this version is 4.0.4431.1 but I think it should work (I didn't test it)

Or if you still have you c:/winnt/$NtServicePackUninstall$ directory
you should find the file here (maybe not this version)

I hope it won't cause any problems but for now it seems to work very well.
