To work with different tables, you can also check an ETL tool able to help you out. Check something like Talend or Pentaho. Why these tools especially? Because both are open source and free to download. They have big and responsive communities able to help you if you ever have issues using the tools. Plus you have tutorials and videos to help you out on the learning part. Even though they aren't hard to work with.
