Best Conversion Tool MSAccess to MySQL
Hello,
we are planning to move a 150 tables MSAccess backend to MySQL. MySQL will be new to me. With some research I have been able to identify the following tools that will help with conversion of the backend and are supposed to maintain table relationships/foreign keys.
Access-MySQL Converter 3.1 (http://www.softgalaxy.net/access-mysql/index.html#features)
DBSync for Access & MySQL (http://www.dbconvert.com/convert-access-to-mysql-sync.php)
DBLoad (http://www.dbload.com/)
MS Access to MySQL Database Converter (http://www.recoverybull.com/recoverybull/msaccess-mysql-db.html)
Access to MySQL (http://www.convert-in.com/acc2sql.htm)
FlySpeed (http://www.activedbsoft.com/overview-migrate-mysql.html)
Convert to MySQL (http://www.spectralcore.com/fullconvert/tutorials/convert-to-mysql.php)
Looking through this forum there was one "sticky" thread about the whole issue, by Edwin DeSouza that I can not seem to find anymore. But in any case, I am looking for user experiences with these and advice beyond "try this", since, evidently, try I can, but would like to hear about other users good or bad experiences with any of these or better alternatives, before I dive in.
1000 thanks in advance
Ingo
