That's a valid point albeit from my point of view if the design was properly made the "client" data would not be on the server in the first place -- Or at the very least the data would be cached in advance by an automated process programmed in the client application, not imported by a programmer/user through this function...

But you did enlighten me to the fact one might wish to do this may it simply be for test purposes.
