Choosing Data Type

Hello!
Can someone tell me what is the best Data Type to store following information:
1. Telephone Number
2. Zip Code
3. Percent Rate (7%; 7.25%)
And lastly, If you only want to store Date only can you use Data Type Date Not DateTime?
