I'm having the same issue, but with Access 2003 and 2007. I am using the mySQL on my dedicated server with HostGator. I never had any issues connecting to my mySQL databases prior to upgrading to win7 64 bit, I was on XP before. The HostGator tech support guys said the problem is Win7 won't support UTF-8. I'm looking for a work around though...
