mysql-connector-odbc-5.2.2-ansi-win32.msi didn't work for me.

Which version of MYSQL are you connecting to?

Our server details are:-
Version: 5.1.61-log
Protocol: 10
Charset: UTF-8 (presumably NOT 4-byte)
