#Name? error in Access 97

I am considering moving my Access 97 database to MySQL 5.0.18. The conversion was fine. I use Access 97 as a front end to MySql, since we have lots of Forms and Reports in 97. Only the tables were moved to MySql.

Most linked MySql tables data are seen correctly in access 97. However, there are a few tables/queries that display data correctly initially, then after a minute or so, all cells change to '#Name? ' The error message is "ODBC - call failed".

When this happens, I have to close the table/query and open it again.
