Access Front-End Slower now

I have Access 97 front-ends with Access 97 backends on a MS Windows 2000 server. The backends contain a mixture of Access and MySQL linked tables. There are more Access tables converted as and when we get chance, to MySQL.

For the past couple of years we have run the data on a Netware server and the speed has been fine (not great but fine). Last week we moved the data off of the Netware server and onto the Windows server and the performance of our Order Processing system (the program we run with the data) has dramatically fallen to the stage where we have to apologise to customers for the delay.

We are using MyODBC driver 3.51.11 but have also tried 3.51.09 and 3.51.12 with no difference in speed

It's not a possibility to go back to Novell as this is something we want to get rid of.

Has anybody experienced and found a solution to this kind of problem?

Many thanks,

Alex
