What does it mean for 64-bit(HPU Itanium) "Connector/ODBC 3.51 is the current release of the 32-bit ODBC driver" from documentation

HI We were trying to build mysql connector 3.51 on HPUX(itanium) 64-bit. While going through the documentaion of MySQL 5.0 Reference Manual I found "Connector/ODBC 3.51 is the current release of the 32-bit ODBC driver" I did not get exact meaning of it. Please be specific on this.

My questions on that are :
1) is mysql Connector/ODBC 3.51 is supported on 64-bit platforms like HPUX Itanium 64-bit if so while building that do we need to add/deleted any options?
