¿Has pensado en usar triggers? Esto te puede ayudar de manera que calculas los acumulados cuando se hace una operación (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) sobre la tabla T_DATA. Es decir, no se calcularían los acumulados periodicamente sino al momento de hacer algún cambio sobre la tabla T_DATA.
Considero que de esta forma te evitas largas esperas para actualizar acumulados.
