Tu aplicación esta tratando de ingresar con el usuario root desde localhost y ese usuario debe estar creado en la tabla mysql.user. Si no existe debes crearlo por ejemplo con el comando:

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'127.0.0.1'
