import from xbase to MySQL

hello, im very noob in this so i need a lot of help :s, i started to work in a new place and they have an old sistem in xbase, so they want me to develop some programs for them but they want to keep using all their database, so i need to import the data from the old DB to use it in my program, and then when i generate my tables in mysql i have to export them to the Xbase again :s, how the hell i do that?... i only know do querys and things like that, all the noob stuff, so i'm really cold in ths subjects :s
can any one help me?
