Importing an offline mysql4.x DB to a new mysql5.x DB

Hi,

A bad one just got dumped on my desk this afternoon...

Some folks had a small Solaris9-sparc box running an old mysql 4.x server on top of it. That box had no safeguard (mirroring, backups, etc) and Murphy's Law acted up on it. The server is dead, but they somehow managed to have a company revive the disk where /usr/local (and their mySQL DB resided). A new box has been commissioned for the group, running Solaris 10u8, mirroring, and a mySQL 5.1.47 server.

Now, I'm able to copy the /usr/local from the old box to some temp location on the new box, but I have to copy its DBs from the offline, old 4.x to my new 5.x server.

My question is a broad -a desperate !- one : any way to inject the data from the offline box to the new one ?

Thanks,

Jeff
