I am developing a rollback plan to downgrade mysql from version 4.1.14 to 3.23.58 as a contigency plan. I am running RH3 Enterprise. I would rather not do a dump of the data as it it quite huge. Does anybody know if the the mysql 4 database is compatible with version 3 or what need to be done so that it is compatible?

Please send all replies to my email.

Thanks,
