From what i could gather the link you provided is for the class files inorder for one to develop an application to link into mySQL, where as i have no need for writing new software (hopfully) i just need to be able to migrate data from my UNIX based Progress9.1D database into are new windows2000 server running mySQL.

I have set up the ODBC link correctly on multiple other machines and have MS SQL2000 comunicating with the UNIX box just mySQL dosnt wont to play ball.

Currently we are attempting to connect to the UNIX based Progress9.1D database using the connection device called 'OpenLink' and within mySQL using the 'generic JDBC' Database System option

In the class name field I have entered: java openlink.jdbc3.Driver
with the following connection string: jdbc:openlink://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/UID=xxx/PWD=xxx

Any help/advice anyone can provide will warmly recived :)
