Migrating to MySQL from Access db or from SQL SERVER?

Hi.
Your help is very appreciated.
I upsized my MS ACCESS 2002 app, to use SQL SERVER 7.0 as backend (through linked tables).
Fortunately, the SQL SERVER 7.0 db is very simple - no stored procs, no user defined functions, just tables.

I would like that my ACCESS app will use MySql as backend INSTEAD of SQL SERVER.
The Question:
I have two options in making the ACCESS app use MySQL:

ACCESS tables ->MySQL
or
SQL SERVER tables -> MySQL

Which migration path is easier ?

Thanks a lot
Roy
