Expected upgrade route from 5.0.6 beta to 5.0.18
I installed the beta version 5.0.6 on my xp machine and created stored procedures, views, tables. I have quite a few database objects that I would like to stay intact when I upgrade to the general release 5.0.18.
What is the expected path to perform this upgrade on my dev box. It seems the version I current have installed will be uninstalled. Is it as easy as replacing the data directory under the new install with that from the beta installation?
A white paper would be great or another thread with this info, I just can't seem to find it.
