Job Description:

Extensive query writing and tuning experience; required topics include MYISM and INNODB table types and the best approach to using each, index optimization, explain plans, advanced query topics (partitioning) and NDB table usage a plus
* Experience with Linux shell scripting and MySQL scripting
* Knowledge of MySQL parameters and instance management, patches and upgrades on the Linux platform
* Ability to recommend current tools and services to improve database infrastructure
- Ability to develop and execute on a database plan (roadmap) that allows for anticipated growth (users and usage) in the short and medium term, and in future years, to ensure a stable and robust system
- Ability to work closely with others in the Digital team to ensure that the database set up complements all other components of the full technology stack, to ensure a stable and robust platform that meets customer and business needs and expectations
