MySql Linux DBA/Perl Developer
Fast growing and dynamic technology company seeks highly motivated, energetic, and organized Senior level MySql database architect in LINUX platform with experience in a mission-critical environment.
You will be responsible for overall system architecture as well as hands on involvement in continued development and support of current architecture and facilitate development of future modules and functionality. Analyze and develop logical and physical database designs and relational data base definitions as well as data security.
Must be able to devise a complete solution architecture that is scalable, high performance and reliable. In depth understanding of database design, interface design, n-tier and distributed architecture. Must be an expert in Linux and MySql.
* Strong database Design skills as well as database support in performance tuning and database troubleshooting.
* Experience with database admin. and System/DB security design
* Proven experience with database replication and data partitioning techniques.
* Strong understanding of query optimization, database indexes, and schema design.
* Strong understanding of Unix systems and database performance tuning.
* Programming experience using embedded PERL.
* 7+ years experience
