We are a ten year old growing company based in the Mid Hudson Valley region of New York, north of Poughkeepsie, looking to hire 1-2 talented individuals to assist with MySQL administration and writing queries.
We are looking for in-house staff to work from our offices, however we are also potentially willing to allow for limited telecommuting at our discretion. In any case, to apply you must live within a reasonable distance of Rhinebeck, NY as commuting to our office will be required.
This is an entry to mid level job. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience working with MySQL and must be comfortable writing and reading semi-complex queries (i.e. more than a few lines long), constructing schemas, and must have at least some understanding of database replication, migration, and database backup procedures.
Any programming expertise or Linux/BSD system administration expertise is a definite plus, but is not required.
