RESPONSIBILITIES
• Function as a data modeler, participating in the design and implementation of data warehouse to support multi-tenant business intelligence platform
• Facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from client community requirements
• Assist QA on the construction of appropriate test cases for validation of ETL and data summary processes
• Translates customer strategic business requirements into a standardized (and/or customized) scalable data architecture
• Perform fit-gap analysis to determine how the base warehouse architecture should be extended to support new requirements
• Develop and implement the business logic and assist with the ETL mechanism to populate relational and dimensional structures
• Implements, analyzes, and modifies database objects, stored procedures and packages, views, tables, and triggers as needed
• Works as a team member on large, highly complex technical project under minimal direction of senior staff and management
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Experiencing building and managing large--?scale MySQL databases
• MySQL performance tuning strategies (e.g. indices, partitioning, settings, sizing, etc.
• Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routine s to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms
• Extremely detail--?oriented and able to follow clear methodologies for troubleshooting and development
• Ability to support and work within fast--?paced Agile software development life cycle process
QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledgeable about data warehouse including star schemas (dimensional models)
• Expertise with MySQL
HIGHLY DESIRED
• Recommend and extend standards, guidelines, and procedures for design and maintenance
• Provide technical leadership relating to data modeling, management, integration, warehousing, business intelligence, storage and other topics related to key strategic projects
• Serve as advisor regarding data architecture and data management principles, policies and processes
• Assist in developing detailed business and technical specifications based on project requirements and in converting business and technical specifications into data extraction/load programs
• Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms
• Use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis
