The U.S. Climate Change Science Program Coordination Office in Washington, DC, seeks an individual to produce and maintain web pages and graphical user interfaces. The individual will collaborate with office staff to enhance interactive nature of sites, research software and server configuration requirements, and serve as lead in implementing web forms and database solutions (experience with PHP and MySQL a must).
Requires Bachelor’s degree in the computer sciences and at least 3 years of experience in web design and development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with global change, the Earth sciences, and environmental policy issues a distinct advantage. Requires skill in web markup languages (HTML, XML), cascading style sheets (CSS), and portable document format (PDF) files.
