DB Engine SWE needed - Progress SW, Nashua NH
As a member of the Database Development Group you will be a key contributor in the design, development and implementation of the Progress Relational Database Management System (OpenEdge RDBMS). Your focus will be on SQL database engine/utility technologies. Join us as we extend the industry-leading embedded database into new markets and deployments of databases. Responsibilities include ownership of major sub-systems, including design, development, and delivery. This individual works as a contributing team member with other SQL engine developers, database QA engineers, and members of the OpenEdge storage engine group.
Required Skills/Experience:
At least 8 years of system software product development experience, solid project design and development experience in C++ is required, as well as experience on both Windows and multiple UNIX platforms. Experience with complicated system software (database or SQL engines, middleware, or operating system) product development and delivery is required. Excellent verbal and written skills are required.
