Telecommuter needed
My company runs an autoresponder service at www.US-Email-Service.com. We are in full compliance, and actually exceed the requirements of the CAN SPAM ACT of 2003 and also with Canadian law.
Design began in August of 2003 and we went online in February of 2004. Since then we have continued to add on additional features. Our customer base is fairly small, but growing. We’re located in North Central Florida and our servers are located in Dallas, TX.
We have been using a programming shop in India, with excellent results until they terminated the relationship because they felt internal documentation was unnecessary. I disagreed. They quit. Go figger.
In any case, I am seeking a contract programmer who has at least 2 years experience with Linux, php and MySQL. The job consists of maintaining and enhancing the current system, which is always being enhanced. I stress that the system is fully operational and is not a can of worms. The current workload is 20-40 hours per week.
A list of the features offered by the system can be found on our home page at www.US-Email-Service.com. Immediate enhancements include:
1. Bring internal script documentation up to date. This will provide an excellent opportunity to see how the system works.
2. Revision of the affiliate program to provide more detailed information about the downline and commissions
3. Revision of the affiliate program to automatically make all customers affiliates as well.
4. Revision of customer message statistics reporting to provide better understanding.
5. Revision of current Help Desk operations.
This is a long-term opportunity and begins as soon as you are available. A non-disclosure agreement is required.
If interested, please forward your detailed resume and hourly rate.
Regards,
Richard F. Hill
