200 User Corporation seeks a full-time MySQL DBA in North Metro Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
* Day to day management of existing database servers in production, development and QA.
* Installation and setup of new database servers.
* Benchmarking and performance tuning of MySQL database servers.
* Ownership of database security.
Qualifications:
* Experience with replication.
* Experience with backup/recovery.
* Experience installing, maintaining and tuning relational databases (MySQL or SQL Server).
* 2+ years of experience with MySQL.
* Experience tuning and optimizing database servers on LINUX platforms.
* Experience with innoDB and myISAM table types.
* Experience in an ODBC/JDBC environment.
Pluses:
System Administration skills in a Linux (RedHat) environment.
Programming experience (perl, php or java).
