I need a MySQL DBA
Seek experienced MySQL DBA:
Experience setting up and administering MySQL 4.1 and 5 in Sun Solaris 10 environment and upgrading from the former to the latter
Experience working in an environment with a large number of MySQL databases and setting up replication enabled
Experience working with MyISAM and InnoDB tables and converting from the former to the latter
Knowledgeable about SQL and query optimization and working with developers on proper use of SQL
Experience optimizing and tuning MySQL databases and setting up backup/recovery procedures and testing them
Ability to script own monitoring tools and procedures and automating recovery of corrupted DBs
Knowledgeable about using MySQL for as reporting warehouse also desirable
