MEMORY Storage Engine Integrity questions
I have basic questions regarding MEMORY Storage Engine.
Considering that one table TABLE_XYZ having 250K records loaded in MEMORY when server S1 is starting up from back end DB SERVER.
Questions:-
1. if we modify any record in the table TABLE_XYZ, how is it written in DB SERVER?
2. Considering updation synch up complexity, can we execute more than 200 update query in a sec?
3. is there any mechanism of checkpointing by which periodically and asynchronously written to the on-disk as it presents in Oracle TimesTen ?
I could not make out from MySql 5.0 Manual, as it doesn't state it explicitly..
Thanks,
Bhavik
