Large Temporary Table 100% CPU Usage When Select Data

Create temporary table from actual table when data more than 20000 rows.
After using this temporary table doing calculation, cpu usage is 100%.
This will block other thread.

How to prevent 100% CPU Usage when using temporary table do calculation.
