Windows 2003 sp1 memory error

Hi

After installing Service Pack 1 on my Windows 2003 Server Enterprise with Mysql 4.1.11 I had this error:

050731 12:11:41 InnoDB: Error: cannot allocate 1610629120 bytes of
InnoDB: memory with malloc! Total allocated memory
InnoDB: by InnoDB 2295492 bytes. Operating system errno: 8
InnoDB: Check if you should increase the swap file or
InnoDB: ulimits of your operating system.
InnoDB: On FreeBSD check you have compiled the OS with
InnoDB: a big enough maximum process size.
InnoDB: We keep retrying the allocation for 60 seconds...
InnoDB: Fatal error: cannot allocate the memory for the buffer pool
050731 12:12:41 [ERROR] Can't init databases
050731 12:12:41 [ERROR] Aborting

The server is a IBM xSeries 440 with 6GB RAM and a swap file of 3072Mb minimum and 6000MB maximum.

In my.ini I had the parameter

innodb_max_pool_size=1536M

If I reduce this amount of memory, ie. 1024M, it works.

Before Service Pack 1 installation it works perfectly.

Can anyone suggest some solution?

thank you

Lorenzo
