MASTER-MASTER replication and Memory Storage Engine

I am researching configuring some MEMORY tables inside a MASTER-MASTER statement-base replication environment.

I understand that, in a MASTER-SLAVE statement-base replication environment, when the MASTER is restarted, the SLAVE will receive a DELETE statement for those MEMORY tables.

Does the same hold true in a MASTER-MASTER configuration? If so, is there a means to turn off this _feature_?
