possible storage engine question

we have a number of retail stores and a headquarters. what we would like is a master database, with each store having their own replicated database.

The kicker is this: when a retail store saves an order, it should somehow insert to both its local and to the master live. keep in mind all other retail stores are doing the same thing, so the master needs to keep track of the correct keys.

The reason we want this is that if/when the internet goes down, the retail stores can continue to process orders. And then when the internet is reconnected it can sync back up with the master.

is there an engine type like this (or something similar) that exists and is available?

thank you for your time!
