Prepared Statements

Hi Everybody,

I m new to this forum and to MySQL+Java.

I ve been trying some of the code from Mark M's book about prepared statements with servlets.

I do not know yet why I keep on getting the following error:

SQLException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '.user_ID = 111' at line 1

I m running

MySQL 4.1.10
Tomcat 5.5
Connector/J 3.1.10
