HELP!!!! Stored proc can't return resultset in given context

Hi All,
I have been plagued by this error for many days now and I have not found any solution anywhere:
"Procedure can't return resultset in given context"

What does this message mean? My application is in ASP.NET with MySQL ver. 5.0.10. I'm using CoreLab's MySQL library ver. 3.0.1.0 to connect to the database. Initially I thought this might be due to some problem with the library itself, so I called the stored proc in DBTools (DBManager Profession client ver. 3.0.0) using the call sql statement. That too gives the same error. Can anyone help me out on this?....The client is waiting and I'm nowhere still...........
