First, tables with names determined at runtime are often, even usually, indicators of data design problems. What problem are you trying to solve with this inefficiency? Have you proved there is no feasible alternative? If you can get rid of that query, your problem may go away.

Second, ...WHERE message LIKE ... will be slow unless (i) there is an index on message and (ii) searchstring does not begin with a wildcard.
