Hi Peter,

Thanks for the response and the link, very nice article, I totally agree with you, However there is nothing much i could do, due to application behavior, In my oracle DBA career i have never seen product writing multiple values into a column. this is some open source application using MY SQL database.

I am still looking for suggestion to achieve the task at hand any help is much appreciated. Hopefully, on the same lines, i will try to create new tables (like child table) with splitted values so it can be used for reporting purposes.
