Okeh, with such very long retrieval times I expected to see cursor code, but that's not the case, it's an optimisation issue, so let's see ...
- innodb_buffer_pool_size
- how much RAM is available to MySQL
- mysql and OS versions
- results of ...
show create table saleshistoryarchive;
show create table customers;
show create table products;
... and of running EXPLAIN on the query.
