Thanks for the reply - as I said, I'm brand new to this and yes, I tried to understand the MySQL Manual but it did not sink in so I thought I'd try to ask somebody that may be able to explain it to me differently so that it does click. No matter, I will not waste anybody's time any further on this forum. If I don't find out through personal trial and error, I'll find a workaround at some point. Thanks anyway.
