I gave it, I believe, an appropriate alias because what was returned when I ran the show create table query was obviously corrupt data. I suppose it is a recurring problem with Php MyAdmin. I figured out a work-around, for the time being, for the problem that was presented by the error. So now I'm left with a dilemma: I can't get you what you asked to see in order to diagnose the problem. Plus, I can't drop and re-create the table without having to undo all of its foreign keys and possibly losing the data contained in it. I'm sure it is something simple of which I am currently ignorant, but you can't tell me that because of the data set returned by show create table. I appreciate any advice you could offer.
