Weird, I am getting a bug in a php script using a query that is fixed when I make all the data in the database consistent - i.e. when all the distinct records are the exact same case it works, when they are not it gets interrupted and the returned record incomplete.
Regarding the design, I am not sure if I can change it as it is pulled from an XML feed to my server and then re-used to query this remote XML db in later events. Not sure if it will affect those later events.
