Hi Hameed and Felix!

I'm glad to hear it works. Does it perform good enough? If you find the time, send the plan. I'm used to reading Oracle plans, but not the mysql ones. Maybe, we'll all learn a thing or two.

As for my EXISTS solution repied to the original post: Felix, good of you to ask wheter Hameed only needed the name column, looking at the desired resultset, I assumed right away that both name and category where needed.
