Something that would help is to put HAVING clause, although I have experienced some strange behaviors of this clause in conjunction with fulltext.
So try do extend your query to:
MATCH(first_name,last_name) AGAINST('"Helena Hartlova"' IN BOOLEAN MODE)
HAVING first_name="Helena" AND last_name = "Hartlova"
This might help with the cost of applying HAVING clause.
