MySQL Query Browser CPU usage in windows

Hi,

I have a 2CPU machine. I'm using the query browsers in windows but when I run two complex tasks at the same time, my computer completely freezes. Is there any way to limit the amount of memory/CPU the program uses?

Any help would be much appreciated,
