Thanks for reply, if I find a sure way to reproduce the error, I'll keep you posted.
Anyway wouldn't it be possible to keep the connection opened ? (or at least being able to setup longer time-out ? I've never been able to set this option INTERACTIVE_TIMEOUT)...
NB. I don't know if it's related to the problem but I sometimes also get violation error with msvcr71.dll reported in the status bar of QB
[EDIT] NB. looks like atm, all people concerned by this problem are running WinXP Pro SP2
